Magic rookie Kevon Harris revealed what Mo Bamba really said to Austin Rivers before they fought

Well, folks We might have an idea on what set things off between Austin Rivers and Mo Bamba on Friday night.

For those who don’t know, the two got into a scuffle at the tail end of the 3rd quarter of the Timberwolves-Magic matchup. It all just seemed so random considering the two of them didn’t have any prior history together.

Things seemed to tee off after Rivers missed a 3-pointer in front of the Magic bench. Mo Bamba seemed to say something to him that had him a bit upset. The two shared some words before Rivers got back on defense and Bamba actually stuck his tongue out at him.

Whatever was said made Markelle Fultz make this face. I’ve never seen Markelle Fultz make this face before.

Everybody wanted to know what Bamba said to Rivers because, clearly, it struck a never. Orlando Magic rookie Kevon Harris gave the internet the scoop.

According to Harris, all Bamba said was “this ain’t high school no more.” That was it.

For background, Austin Rivers has one of the greatest Hoop Mixtapes of all time. His highlight reel at Winter Park broke the internet back in 2011. It still slaps to this day.

If what Harris says is true, Bamba was referencing that time. He was basically telling Rivers “you’re not that good anymore,” which…ouch.

So there you have it, folks. That’s what did it. Though it’s pretty wild, that’s nothing to fight over. The suspensions are still coming.
