MAFS UK Reunion was so chaotic 'producers had to step in' to stop fights between cast members

Married At First Sight UK’s Reunion was so chaotic ‘producers had to step in’ to stop fights between cast members.

The 2022 series comes to an end next week, when viewers will be treated to two reunion episodes on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 October.

And fans of the Channel 4 show – which has had one of its most fiery series yet – can expect plenty more drama as all 20 contestants come together for the first time.

“The reunion is like nothing you’ve seen before. It’s all kicking off. It’s explosive. Let’s just say the previous dinner parties have got nothing on what’s about to happen,” a source told The Sun.

The insider continued: “No one could be heard and everyone was rowing with each other – it was mayhem. Luckily there were no drinks thrown, but a lot was consumed.

“At one point production had to get involved and tell the group to ‘shut up’ after a series of rows kicked off. A lot of people had stuff to get off their chest and the reunion was the perfect opportunity.”

It comes after things kicked off at the last dinner party, when usually calm Adrian lost his rag and stormed out.

Moments before Adrian and husband Thomas announced to the group they had taken the decision to no longer continue their relationship.

Whitney and Matt called Thomas and Adrian's relationship 'fake' (E4)

Adrian said: “Thomas and I have had a chat, and after making a phenomenal journey and coming from hell on earth with this chap and coming to the most amazing place where I actually adore this man and everything about him, we have decided that we will not be making it to final vows, and we will be bowing out gracefully."

Thomas added: "And with the most beautiful man. I would never have asked for anything more in this experience. We're going to be best friends forever but not husbands forever."

Their announcement prompted eye-rolling from controversial couple Matt and Whitney – who were both married to other people in the experiment before getting together.

After calling Thomas and Adrian’s relationship ‘fake’, Matt was heard saying: “Who the f*** do you think you are? You’re a f***ing joke.”

Manchester native Adrian then had the perfect comeback for the tattooed barber, which delighted fans.

Yelling at Matt, he said: “If there’s any person in this world who’s going to tell me I didn’t work my arse off at this marriage, it most certainly will not be someone who didn’t give his a day.

“My relationship has been on the table for everyone to see. if I was faking a relationship, it would have been a good one!”

Sarcastic Whitney then piped up: “Who put 2p in his f**ing box?” - prompting Adrian to lose it even more.

“I have literally respected you so much throughout this thing and you show me none... so actually, you’re done.”

Adrian then stormed out shouting: “F*** off Whitney!” as he left the table, shocking the other cast members.

Viewers will have to tune into tonight’s episode to see which of the remaining couples chose to renew their vows.
