It’s no secret the Married At First Sight (MAFS) fandom loves a scandal. While I do enjoy the drama — and in some ways, it pays my bills — sometimes I think the MAFS super fans have gone a bit too far. The biggest example of this? The latest rumour swirling that Rhi Disljenkovic had a “baggie” stuffed inside her dress during Sunday’s commitment ceremony.
The “evidence” of this was found in a screenshot from the episode a punter posted in the MAFS 2025 Unfiltered Facebook group. In the pic, they claimed they could see a little something-something in her top as the camera panned around the room.
Although it’s clear there is something in her dress, it’s a bit of a stretch to call it a baggie, if you ask me.
If it was a baggie, that thing would have to be full to the goddamn brim and I just don’t think the MAFS cast are paid enough for that (I’m joking!!! I promise!!)
But truthfully, it would be incredibly silly and ballsy for Rhi to try and smuggle some booger sugar into the commitment ceremony.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Rhi confirmed that the thing sticking out of her bra was certainly not a nefarious baggie but rather, a mic fixed to the inside of her dress by a sound producer.
“It’s a microphone and tape. As if it was a bag! It’s definitely a mic taped inside,” Rhi exclaimed.
“It would be a silly place to put it if it was,” she said, noting that the audio team are constantly fiddling with the neckline of clothes to make sure mics are fitted properly.
Rhi is in one of the most solid couples of the MAFS experiment with Jeff Gobbells. Although their romance was a slow burn at the beginning, they’ve recently gone from strength to strength and are rumoured to be one of the only couples still together after the show.
I’ve got my fingers crossed for them!!
