Married At First Sight‘s (MAFS) Jacqueline Burfoot has vented her true thoughts on Ryan Donnelly‘s vile comments about their sex life and honestly, I feel terrible for her.

On the final day of MAFS‘ Intimacy Week, viewers and the 2025 cast were rocked after Ryan Donnelly made a series of offensive comments regarding his bride, Jacqueline ‘Jacqui’ Burfoot.
You see, during the men’s workshop with sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, Ryan criticised his wife’s fantasy date night. During his sook, he went on to say she had “crazy eyes” — a name Jacqui was called by fellow groom Jake Luik — before adding that she gave good head to the entire group.
Following the workshop, some of the grooms shared Ryan’s comments with their wives who were instantly disgusted with what went down.
While we’re not too sure when Jacqui will find out about the comments or how she will react, the 2025 bride recently took to her business Instagram account to express how she felt about Ryan’s remarks about their sex life.
Following Tuesday night’s episode, on @jacquelineleejewellery, the alleged Miss New Zealand 2012 criticised her co-stars for “gossiping like children” instead of addressing it with her on the spot.
“The only thing on my mind right now — Why has no one had the respect and decency to check in with me at this point? Everyone is gossiping like children and I’m humiliated,” Jacqui penned alongside a snippet of the grooms telling their brides about Ryan’s comments.
The 29-year-old consultant went on to criticise the grooms for not holding Ryan accountable in front of Alessandra but thanked Dave Hand for acknowledging that he should’ve done so, which he admitted during a voxxie.
“As a matter of privacy and respect, I’d appreciate if this is dealt with in private. I feel ashamed and disappointed right now,” she wrote.

On Wednesday morning, Ryan appeared on Channel Nine’s Today Extra where he took the opportunity to apologise for his actions, describing the moment as “one of [his] biggest regrets”.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to the viewers, to Jacqui, to anyone who was offended by it, to Alessandra who was present in the room,” he shared.
Thankfully (in my humble opinion, LOL) Jacqui has revealed that she’s no longer with Ryan and is now in a long-term relationship with another man.
“I love all dogs, am deeply insecure (hence why I need constant compliments, but hey don’t we all deserve that?), I am ready to settle down to have babies (4-5 kiddos) AND I am currently in a relationship with a person who was exactly what I asked for,” the 2025 bride spilled.
“Sometimes miracles happen because today I am in fact happy and in a loving long-term relationship.”
As much as people have a lot of thoughts about Jacqui due to her high standards and her need to feel like the most beautiful girl in the world, I cannot help but feel terrible for her.
Fingers crossed she’s getting all the support in the world.
