Unfortunately, Channel Nine’s weekly squeeze for pure chaos is coming to a close. But before we can kiss the ouch couch goodbye we’ve got Homestays to get through and according to MAFS insiders, this week is going to be muy delicioso for us drama fiends.

Jacqui Burfoot ‘traumatised’ over Ryan Donnelly’s house
MAFS 2025 hot and cold couple Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly are rumoured to be in the centre of this week’s drama after the Miss New Zealand bride was “traumatised” over the state of Ryan’s home.
Per Daily Mail Australia, Ryan reportedly warned Jacqui over her “elitist attitude” before entering his humble abode.
“He told her, ‘Look, if you come here, maybe think about what you’re going to say and try not to be too judgmental, because my house is clean,'” an insider dished to the publication.
“She literally walked through his house, pointing out everything she didn’t like and demanding he ‘fix it’. She even wrote a list — like a teacher scolding a student.”
Ahhh. I see. Another week, another list from Jacqui. I will need her to drop the full tea once the season is over.
The MAFS insider added that Jacqui ripped into the self-proclaimed warrior groom for having one pillow, making him feel like “an absolute joke”.
“She ripped into him for having just one pillow on his bed. Ryan had actually bought her a brand-new pillow before she arrived, but it still wasn’t good enough,” they said.
Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly clash over his dog
According to the publication, Jacqui and Ryan’s woes continue when they clash over his fur baby Freya. An insider dished that things went “downhill fast” when the groom wanted to introduce the doggo to Jacqui.
“Production wanted them to walk the dog in a particular location, but Jacqui insisted on doing things her way even though Ryan warned her it wasn’t how Freya was trained,” the insider spilled.
“She let the leash out fully, and Freya was running all over the place, nearly tripping them over. Ryan asked her to just walk the dog the way he does, and she flat-out refused.
“He snapped. He was like, ‘Can you just do this one thing? It’s my dog!’ And Jacqui still wouldn’t listen. Eventually, he snatched the leash back and that was that.”
The insider claimed that this argument including Freya was the catalyst to Ryan and Jacqui’s 100th relationship breakdown of the season.
Ryan Donnelly’s friends slam Jacquir Burfoot during Homestays
Aiyiyiyi. At this point, these two should’ve just left the show on day dot. As soon as Ryan didn’t give her his jacket when she was cold during the wedding photo shoot, she should’ve just ended it! But anyways, we’re here, and with that is more drama.
Per Daily Mail Australia, during Homestays, Ryan’s friends Adam and Carla snap at Jacqui for constantly criticising the groom.
“She couldn’t handle being held accountable. She walked out rather than admitting she’d treated him horribly,” the anonymous source shared.
Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand clash over his dog
Uhhhh. What’s going on with the dogs this season?
Anyway, MAFS ex-golden couple Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand are rumoured to clash over the groom’s beloved dog Willow.
An insider source claimed that Jamie “stormed out” after Willow jumped on the couch right after she “nearly dry-retched” over the immense amount of dog hair in Dave’s house.
“Jamie is not a dog person,” the insider shared.
Jamie Marinos meets Dave Hand’s father
While it’s rumoured that this duo will be going through it, the insider also adds that Jamie had “one of the most emotional moments of the season” when she met Dave’s father in hospital.
At the start of the season, Dave revealed that his father couldn’t make it to his MAFS wedding as he was undergoing chemotherapy.
Per Daily Mail Australia, Jamie’s visit to the hospital helped her see Dave “in a completely different light”.
I think I’ll need to clutch all my tissue boxes for this one.
Adrian Araouzou refuses to meet Awhina Rutene’s son
While Homestays Weeks allows the MAFS couples to live a life more authentic than the ones they live in their suites, Adrian Araouzou has reportedly refused to meet Awhina Rutene‘s son during his stay in Perth.
According to the Daily Mail, an insider claimed that Adrian “wanted to meet the father first just to make sure everyone was on the same page”.
“Awhina actually understood where he was coming from, and they both agreed it was too soon to introduce them, given they were still working through some things,” the insider dished.
While I‘ve questioned this pair throughout the whole experiment, I would say that this decision would be the best one they’ve met IMO.

TL;DR, this is going to be a Jacqui vs Ryan bonanza and I lowkey am sat for this clusterfuck!
