Married At First Sight‘s (MAFS) most chaotic couple, Ryan Donnelly and Jacqui Burfoot, have finally called it quits but not without a bang!!! And fans (plus myself) are lapping it all up!
This article contains Married At First Sight (MAFS) spoilers. It’s up to you if you wanna stay or leave.
BLOOODY HELLL. There have been whispers that Jacqui and Ryan’s Final Vows were savage AF but we didn’t know it would reach that kind of level!
For folks who haven’t been following along, Jacqui and Ryan’s relationship on MAFS has been quite the rollercoaster. Heck, even in the lead up to their final vows — and I’m just talking about Monday night’s episode — the pair were on and off.
On Sunday night, Jacqui and Ryan had a minor argument after the Sydney-based bride revealed she exchanged numbers with her Final Test Date Rory.

However, after 24 hours, it appeared that all things were forgiven as the pair were filmed cuddling on the couch in matching outfits.

But after spending time apart in between Final Vows, with Jacqui finding solitude living without Ryan and the warrior groom finding solice in the advice of his friends, Adam and Karla, the pair agreed to leave their relationship behind.
As Jacqui revealed that she found peace without Ryan, the Miss New Zealand bride gushed over her Final Vows speech.
“I’ve got some iconic lines that are really funny. I’m really proud of them. I’m gonna be laughing about them,” Jacqui shared.

Oh yeah… That giggle, that quote and that smile tells us everything we need to know about their Final Vows.
Ryan was the first to deliver his lovely speech, softening the blow with a bunch of lovely memories, smiles and giggles. But honestly, throughout the chat, Jacqui looked completely checked out.
But what really got me was his little jabs — like poking fun at her online shopping addiction and her obsession with her hair — to top it all of with “I enjoy sexy time”. ICK.

Finally, it was time for Ryan to get to the pointy part of his speech, where he declared that things were done. BURRITO.
“I will never allow any person on this planet to criticise all the self-work that I’ve done, my career, my finances or my masculinity. A healthy relationship is not a performance review,” he dished.
“Right now, we aren’t strong enough to continue this marriage. My heart is heavy with this decision. I will be walking away from this relationship. For that, and for saying you have ‘crazy eyes’, I am sorry.”
Uh oh. Jacqui’s time to speak, and it was fully giving this moment from White Chicks. IYKYK.
While I can safely say that both Ryan and Jacqui can be toxic in their own ways, I am going to admit. Jacqui kinda ate with her Final Vows.
I also want to note that I DO NOT AGREE with everything she had to say, but the speech was quite scathing, delicious, and what I needed to cut all the mushy stuff from Rhi and Jeff‘s sweet, sweet Final Vows moment.
(They said yes to continuing the relationship, btw, so snaps for Rhi and Jeff ploise!)
Some of the stand-out moments from Jacqui’s Final Vows included:
- “I am not a rehabilitation centre.”
- “Don’t call my final vows ridiculous; that’s not nice.”
- “It’s not me, your pride is the problem.”
- “In a world of red flags, you are the carpet.”
- “While I love it when your big biceps pick me up, hug me, dip me and throw me in the pool, they will never be the reason I get pregnant.”

Here’s what folks had to say about Jacqui and Ryan’s Final Vows.

Shortly after Jacqui left, the rollercoaster pair both went into crash-out mode during the voxxies.
“Be gone with you, you horrible woman. Be gone with you,” Ryan laughed.
“What a fucking shamble. That was utterly disgusting. Jacqui is so full of shit. She’s calling me the red carpet? Oh brother.
“You’re a liar. You’re deceitful. Pathetic.”

As for Jacqui, the bride laughed at the thought of her “wasting time” with Ryan in the experiment.
“He was not happy that I walked away. I could tell that his pride was triggered,” Jacqui laughed.
AHHH MAN. LOWKEY. Imma miss these two on my screen. Toxic for them, toxic for me, but fun to watch. MAFS 2025 you will always be famous for bringing us the most cooked storylines.
Married At First Sight returns Sunday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
