It looks like Married At First Sights’ resident runaway groom Eliot Donovan has decided to have a bit of a laugh online. The 35-year-old Gold Coast business owner has taken to TikTok to recreate that out of left-field scene with relationship expert John Aiken, and let’s just say it’s a bit cheeky.
For those who missed it, earlier this month, viewers were treated to a rather serious sit-down between Eliot and John. But it wasn’t the conversation that had everyone talking. Instead, it was the suspiciously shaped object lurking on John’s bookshelf that stole the show.
Now, Elliot has decided to address the elephant in the room, or should we say the butt plug on the shelf, with a TikTok video. In the clip, he recreates the scene, complete with a faux John Aiken telling him, “We need to go much deeper! I need you to look behind you.”
Eliot, ever the comedian, turns to the camera and asks point-blank, “Is that a butt plug?”
To which ‘John’ responds, “It is time you decide what you want to do with it.”
The video’s caption reads, “There’s been a lot of speculation about the one-on-one chat I had with John and how edited it looked. So, I went and got the full, unedited version.”
Naturally, fans were all over this. One viewer praised Eliot’s comedic chops, writing, “Your humour is top tier.”
Another cheekily asked, “What do YOU want to do with it?” to which Eliot quipped back, “Leave it on the shelf.”
Others are still wary of Eliot. “Humour is always a narcissists ‘go to’ in order to cover up their true character tho,” wrote one user.
Of course, we can’t forget why Eliot was in John’s office in the first place. The self-proclaimed “straight shooter” ditched his bride Lauren Hall, 37, claiming she was too old for him.
“I was expecting to meet a cute, librarian-type girl that was younger than me. And I ended up with what felt like a Kardashian sister,” Eliot claimed. He would be so lucky!!!
John, being the no-nonsense diva he is, didn’t hold back. He told Eliot, “Let’s be honest: You’re here on this show because you’re 35 and single and you’ve been going out with young women and it hasn’t worked.” FINISH HIM JOHN!!
Unfortunately, MAFS decided not to finish him, because Eliot has rejoined the cast as an intruder, this time tormenting paired with the lovely Veronica Cloherty.
Only time will tell how this relationship will go, but judging by Eliot’s vows being all about him, I can’t imagine it will go any better than his first marriage.
