Cleo Rutene, the twin of Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 bride Awhina Rutene, has come in clutch for the billionth time this season by revealing the damning text messages Sierah Swepstone sent that blew up the Reunion Dinner Party.
In case you’ve missed the 411, MAFS 2025 is officially coming to a close. But before we can kiss our season 12 participants goodbye, our brides and grooms have returned for the Reunion.
The Reunion Dinner Party went down on Sunday, April 6, and boy, it was blooooooody explosive.
To give you a quick recap, Sierah — who was paired with Billy Belcher on the show — appeared to be on everyone’s shit list ahead of the Reunion after she sent a text to Adrian Araouzou — Awhina’s ‘husband’ — that allegedly painted Awhina and the her co-stars in a bad light.
As a result of this text being circulated amongst the cast, Sierah came to the conclusion that she would be telling everyone to “get fucked” at the Reunion, as well as reveal what Awhina had said behind Adrian’s back during the experiment.
Spoiler: Awhina said Adrian “was stupid”, “couldn’t spell” and that his “business is a joke”.
But what also makes this alleged text a sore spot for Awhina was that Sierah and Adrian had built a secret friendship behind her and Billy’s back during the experiment.
When Sierah finally arrived, the mysterious text message was brought to light, and it immediately erupted into a screaming match between Sierah, Awhina and Jamie Marinos. It was truly intense.
But now, the contents of that sneaky, explosive text message have been leaked, thanks to Awhina’s sister, Cleo Rutene.
What did Sierah Swepstone’s text message say?
Shortly after the Reunion Dinner Party aired, Cleo took to her Instagram Stories to share the alleged text message Sierah had sent to Adrian.
According to Cleo’s sneaky post, it appears that the former Bachelor contestant sent a lengthy message since a portion of it has been cropped out from the top and the bottom.
From what we can see, Sierah appears to be blowing up at Adrian, Awhina and the whole cast over a Commitment Ceremony and Dinner Party where she felt attacked.
“Yeah, but it doesn’t matter if you’ve said it to people like Billy and Awhina or any of those nasty c**ts even after I left they will absolutely come at me with at the dinner party,” Sierah wrote in the alleged text, describing the MAFS 2025 cast as “nasty” CU Next Tuesdays.
Further in the wall of text, Sierah said Awhina had a “tacky weave” and claimed that she and Billy “lied” during a Commitment Ceremony.
“You actually don’t understand how much that last [Dinner Party] has affected my mental health, and it was because you dogged. [sic] Didn’t stop Awhina kicking me while I was down either when I sat at the [Commitment Ceremony] and telling more fucking lies. I actually hate her, and I hate you. Biggest regret was having anything to do with you because look at how I was treated for it and you came away unscathed,” Sierah wrote.
Shortly after Cleo shared the text, it was deleted from her account. However, online sleuths @mafsuncensored quickly reshared the spicy Instagram Story to their account.
At the time of writing, neither Cleo, Awhina nor Sierah have responded to the scathing text. It also hasn’t been confirmed that this was the text that set the cast off during the Reunion.
So I guess we’ll have to wait for Monday night’s Reunion episode to see if this text causes more chaos.
