Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2024 bride Tori Leigh Adams has chucked in her two cents on this year’s villains and how cooked the MAFS 2025 edits are.
To jog your memory, Tori Leigh Adams appeared in last year’s season of MAFS, where the experts matched her with villain groom Jack Dunkley.
Jack was constantly at the centre of the show’s drama — most famously, the “muzzle” comment controversy.
Despite their relationship being a slow burner that was continuously questioned by their fellow MAFS peers, Tori and Jack have become one of only six MAFS matches to make it beyond the ouch couch.
Shortly after their stint on the show, Tori moved in with Jack on the Gold Coast and the pair have continuously shared social media piccies together.

While MAFS 2025 continuously hands us villain after villain — despite executive producers Alexandra Spurway and John Walsh denying whispers of a “villain edit” — Tori claims that this specific reality TV trick is legit.
“I think the villain edit does exist,” she told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“There needs to be a villain, right? That’s as simple as that, and without that villain, the show is boring as batshit.
“As much as we say we want to sit back and watch 24 strangers meet the love of their life and fall in love, and it’d be really cute [but] after an episode that’s that’s boring, right?
“So, yeah, the villain edit does exist. But in saying that people that may have a villainous personality can be cleaned up and polished to look like, you know, the best person that roams the earth.”

A while back, Tori’s fellow castmate Eden Harper revealed that 2025 villain groom Tim Gromie had reached out to her during filming. Eden previously mentioned that it was normal for former castmates to reach out for advice. However, in Eden’s case, Tori and other MAFS fans believed he was reaching out with other intentions.
“I don’t think Tim was reaching out to Eden for advice per se, maybe for a date, but not advice,” she laughed.
Tori spilled that no one had reached out to her, but multiple 2025 grooms surprisingly contacted Jack.
“There were a few guys that reached out to Jack, which Jack is a wealth of knowledge, and he’s a really logical guy. So, I can understand why. He had to navigate a really, really tough edit that was completely against who he is as a person,” Tori added.
Where are Married At First Sight‘s Tori Leigh Adams and Jack Dunkley now?
Despite being one of the most polarising couples of MAFS 2024, Tori revealed that she and Jack received nothing but love since finishing the show.
“We’ve had nothing but love on the outside,” Tori said.
Unfortunately for some MAFS villains, some cop a new wave of hate when their seasons air later in another country. An example of this has been expressed by Season Nine’s Olivia Frazer, who’s expressed that she’s gotten hate from international viewers after MAFS aired in their country.

While this phenomenon seems to strike other villains, Tori revealed that she and Jack haven’t copped too much flak for their stint on the show, and when they are, they’re not too bothered by the public’s opinion.
“There’s always going to be like that one sad, lonely person that sits in their messy, dark, cold home and just shits on the internet. There’s absolutely not a single person that is exempt from that,” Tori dished.
Since their time on the MAFS, both Tori and Jack have focused on well-being and wellness content. When offering advice to this year’s participants, Tori urged her fellow brides and grooms to remember it’s just TV.
“I would just always reiterate the fact that it’s a TV show. It’s three months of your entire life. Yes, it’s on TV. Yes, it stays around forever, but at some point, you will get your voice back,” Tori shared.
“Enjoy it. Not everyone gets to do it. If you do get an edit, that’s not you to your core, do not lean into it and stay true to yourself.”
