Married At First Sight Australia’s Jessika Power has teased fans that she’s a potential star of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
The 29-year-old reality star made her name on the scandalous Australian dating series, which gripped the UK earlier this year, as her complicated relationships played out.
Currently, she’s in Manchester in order to see her British boyfriend, who she’s kept secret, but that didn’t stop her having a Q+A with fans on Instagram to talk about her upcoming projects.
When one fan asked if she was going to be on I’m A Celebrity, the former administrative officer played coy, before admitting: “There are some TV contracts in the works, in talks at the moment.
“I can’t tell you which one, it may be this one, it may not be this one. It may be something else.
“You just don’t know where you’ll see me but I will be popping up somewhere.”
At the moment, with the Celebs Go Dating line-up seemingly confirmed, and Dancing On Ice already announcing their cast, it’s hard to pinpoint where she might appear other than on I’m A Celebrity.
Ahead of jetting over to the UK, Jessika confirmed to Australian press that she had a TV show in the works.
She added: “I feel I have done as much as I can do here in Australia.., but with MAFS screening in the UK and my name sort of blowing up over there I am really excited to see what opportunities might be there.”
Her series of the scandalous dating ‘experiment’ first aired in Aus back in 2019, but it took two years to make it over to UK sures.
Initially paired up with farmer and plasterer Mick Gould, her relationship turned sour when she had enough of her partner, and started an ‘affair’ with another of the grooms, Dan Webb .
Despite him being in a romance with Tamara Joy, Dan decided to leave the experiment, before re-entering with Jessika and starting again.
However, while they made it through to the end of the show, their initial spark soon faded, and in a series of bitter clashes they split by the final reunion episode.
She later admitted in a chat with the Mirror that she regretted her actions.
Jessika told The Mirror in February: "I watch the show back and I think holy s*** - did I just do that?
"We were filming for four months so you just forget."
“I wouldn't take back what I had with Dan because what I had was with him was special to me,” she later added.
"It was a learning curve but it was something I needed to learn to be the person I am today."
