Eurovision fans across UK were left gutted after the Mae Muller came second to last. The only country to receive less points was Germany. Sweden's Loreen took the top spot for the second time in her career.
While it wasn't quite 'nul points', the UK only managed to rack up 24 points - a whopping 559 less than the winner Sweden. Camera pans to British entrant Mae Muller showed clear disappointment on her face as she was consoled by family and friends backstage.
Now Mae has spoken out for the first time. In the early hours of this morning, she took to Twitter to address fans.

She wrote on the social media platform: "I just want to say thank u x I know I joke a lot but we really put our all into the last few months, not the result we hoped for but so proud of everyone & what we achieved on this journey."
She added: "Congrats to all the countries. I'll never forget this journey and I love you all." Mae ended the host with a heart emoji.
The singer, who hails from London, then showed her followers she was OK by posting a smiley snap on Instagram. Mae captioned the picture, which showed her looking away from the camera with her chin on her hand smiling, with the words: "It's camp x"
