Thousands of fans were left disappointed after tickets to Madonna's only UK gig quickly sold out during a pre-sale event today.
Fans who weren't able to get early access to her greatest hits live tour have been given a glimmer of hope though after Live Nation confirmed they could still sign-up for an alternative pre-sale for the hugely anticipated gig.
The Queen of Pop is doing a 35 city world tour celebrating four decades of hits, much to the delight of fans across the world keen to see highlights from her extensive back catalogue live.

London's O2 Arena is set to play host to the first date of the European leg of the tour on Saturday, October 14, and the first pre-sale tickets went on sale today in a launch beset with problems for many.
Fans took to Twitter to complain about difficulties accessing the pre-sale which was available through Ticketmaster and AXS for O2 Priority customers and Madonna fan club members from 9am.
Despite the difficulties and high prices, which reached between £432 and £1,307 per person for the most expensive standard and VIP tickets respectively, all available tickets had sold out within two hours of the launch.
While speculation is mounting that the music icon may announce further dates at the London venue - there's a noticeable seven day gap between the London concert and the next date on the tour - for now, the best chance fans have of scooping tickets is courtesy of another pre-sale with Live Nation. It starts tomorrow (January 19) from 9am.
Today's pre-sales were only available to existing members of the pop star's fan club and mobile customers of O2 but tomorrow's is available to anyone who signs up with Live Nation. To get free pre-sale access, fans can simply sign up here and go to the register button ahead of the ticket launch tomorrow morning.
Madonna thrilled fans with the announcement of the tour, which she launched with a star-studded video to social media yesterday with a host of cameos including Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen and Amy Schumer.
It is the music legend's first greatest hits tour with the star promising Madonna: The Celebration will be a tour showcasing the best of the last four decades. Madonna said: "I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for."
General sale tickets for Madonna's Celebration tour will be available from Friday, January 20 at 10am via both Ticketmaster and LiveNation.
