Less than a month after being rushed to the hospital with a bacterial infection, Madonna has been spotted walking the streets of New York's Upper East Side.
A fan on TikTok snapped some pictures of the songstress outside Blank Street Coffee, Lexington and 80th Street location. The Queen of Pop, 64, was talking with a friend while casually leaning up against a traffic light.
Lauren Conlin, the fan who spotted her, said Madonna was "looking great." It seemed as though Madge was in "under-the-radar mode", wearing a hat and sunglasses. However, that disguise was actually quite pricey, a $750 Gucci canvas hat. Under that, Madonna wore her blonde hair in little braids. Plus, she appeared to wear minimal makeup other than some lipstick.
The rest of Madonna's outfit was more relaxed. She put together an activewear look that consisted of a basic navy tee and shorts. She added on some simple white and red Nike trainers. As she often does, Madonna also wore her Kabbalah bracelet.
Her friend was also dressed casually, opting for blue jean trousers and a white distressed t-shirt.
While Madonna looked like she was perfectly healthy in the photos, on June 24 she had been found unresponsive. As a result, she was taken straight to the hospital. It was later revealed that Madonna had suffered from a serious viral infection that caused her to stay several days in the ICU, according to a statement from her manager.
Madonna was reportedly revived by Narcan, which is typically used in the case of a narcotic drug overdose. She was not suffering from an overdose, but rather septic shock.
Her manager had also revealed that she was expected to make a full recovery which is now being emphasised by her trip out and about. On her Twitter, Madonna shared her current condition, saying: "I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life."
Tour dates that had to be postponed while Madonna recovered are in the works to be rescheduled. She revealed in her statement that the European leg will begin in October and the North American dates will be pushed back until next year.
She concluded: "I couldn't be more grateful for your care and support."
