The Queen of Pop is recovering at home after her latest health scare and is getting support from everyone in her family, even her ex Guy Ritchie.
Almost two weeks after Madonna's manager informed the world that she was rushed to the hospital for a serious bacterial infection, the Material Girl recently took to Instagram to thank her fans and inform them of her recovery.
"Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement," the singer wrote on Instagram, "I have felt your love. I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life."
Madonna has been surrounded by her six kids, Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy, 17, and twins Stella and Estere, 10, throughout, but a blast from her past is apparently extending his help as well.
Director Guy Ritchie, who was married to Madonna from 2000 to 2008, has allegedly "offered to drop everything and fly out to New York if she needs him," a source told Closer Magazine.
"For all of their differences, she's still the mother of his first-born child and a force of nature," the source said. "He truly respects her and that's why he wants to help any way he possibly can."
Madonna and Guy met in the summer of 1998. Two years later, Madonna gave birth to their son Rocco on 11 August 2000. The two married four months later at Skibo Castle in Scotland. In 2008, Madonna filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
"Guy's not taking no for an answer," said the source, "he's proud that their son Rocco has teamed up with his siblings to support their mum, and will help in any way he can."
The couple also adopted David Banda in October 2006 together. Both Rocco and David have been seen leaving Madonna's apartment in New York during her hospitalisation and recovery.
The singer is said to appreciate Guy's olive branch "even though she's surrounded by loved ones and has more practical support right now than she knows what to do with."
"It's very clear to him and all those in Madonna's world that this has been a life-threatening situation and a serious ongoing ordeal that will take her a while to recover from," the source said.
The singer was seen earlier this week 'looking great' as she strolled around New York's Upper East Side.
Due to her sudden health scare, some of her tour dates are in the works of being rescheduled. The pop diva wants her Celebration tour to be "bigger and better than anything she's done before." The tour was supposed to kick off 15 July in Canada, but as of now the tour is starting 14 October at the O2 Arena in London.
