Madonna 'planning a greatest hits tour' with dates in the UK

Speculation is rising that pop legend Madonna is set to announce a Greatest Hits world tour including multiple UK dates to mark four decades since she released her self-titled debut album.

The series of shows, which insiders on Twitter have tipped to start in late 2023 in South America before moving through the rest of the world in 2024, would be Madonna's first compilation tour, meaning the music icon could incorporate dozens of hits from her extensive back catalogue of pop anthems.

Long-standing collaborator Jamie King, who has worked on music videos and tours with the star since choreographing her video for Human Nature in 1995, is tipped to be creative director for the shows.
