Madonna shares backstage tongue kiss with musician Jozzy amid 'ageist' row at Grammy Awards

Madonna shared a steamy snog with artist and Beyoncé songwriter Jozzy while backstage at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles – amid her row over "ageism".

The Material Girl hitmaker, 64, French-kissed the artist, 32, while she partied at the star-studded bash alongside pals Sam Smith and Cardi B.

Sharing a raunchy video from behind the scenes at Sunday night's glitzy ceremony, Madonna filmed the moment she leaned in for a kiss with Jozzy, who identifies as queer.

The pair are seen on-camera as their tongues touch – sending fans into a frenzy after the intimate moment was shared Madonna's 18.7million followers on Instagram.

Jozzy was at the Grammys to celebrate her two nominations in the Album of the Year category for her part on Beyoncé's Renaissance and Mary J. Blige's Good Morning Gorgeous.

It comes after Madonna issued a passionate and lengthy statement aimed at critics who mocked her appearance at the Grammy Awards.

Madonna told her Instagram fans how she was "caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in".

She reminded critics that she has "never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start".

Her lips appeared plumped and pouty and her skin was smooth and without wrinkles.

The Queen of Pop began her lengthy statement writing: "It was an honor for me to Introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith at the Grammys.

"Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim, many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!!"

Madonna, who has won seven Grammys herself, went on to add: "Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in.

"A world that refuses to celebrate women pass the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.

"I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come."

The star concluded in iconic style, penning: "In the words of Beyonce 'You-won’t break my soul."
