Madonna could be daughter Lourdes sister as duo strike matching poses in flawless shoot

Madonna stood proudly alongside her eldest daughter Lourdes as the pair embraced amid the chart-topping singer's 'ageist' row at the Grammy Awards.

The Material Girl hitmaker, 64, was all-smiles as she shared a sweet embrace with her first child shared with ex-boyfriend, actor and personal trainer, Carlos Leon.

Lourdes wrapped her arms around her mum as the pair appeared to enjoy Sunday night's celebrations in Los Angeles – despite Madonna's recent comments.

They both stunned in bold black outfits, showing off their flawless features as they looked down the lens of the camera in a slurry of snaps from the night's ceremony.

Model Lourdes has previously worked for Rihanna's Savage x Fenty line, Marc Jacobs, Swarovski, and Burberry – and has been featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair.

She previously described her mum as "a control freak" when she was younger, but has since praised "how empowering to other women and ahead of her time she has always been".

Madonna has five other children, including son Rocco, whose dad is film director Guy Ritchie. She also mum to David, Mercy and twins Stella and Estere, who were born in Malawi and adopted by the songstress as children.

The mother-daughter reunion came on the same night Madonna shared a steamy snog with Beyoncé songwriter Jozzy while backstage at the Grammys.

She French-kissed the artist, 32, while she partied at the star-studded bash alongside pals Sam Smith and Cardi B.

Sharing a raunchy video from behind the scenes at Sunday night's glitzy ceremony, Madonna filmed the moment she leaned in for a kiss with Jozzy, who identifies as queer.

The pair are seen on-camera as their tongues touch – sending fans into a frenzy after the intimate moment was shared Madonna's 18.7million followers on Instagram.

It comes after Madonna issued a passionate and lengthy statement aimed at critics who mocked her appearance at the Grammy Awards.

Madonna told her Instagram fans how she was "caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in".

She reminded critics that she has "never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start".

The mum-of-six looked smooth and plumped as she presented at the music awards, where some fans branded her 'unrecognisable'.

The Queen of Pop said: "Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in.

"A world that refuses to celebrate women pass the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.

"I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come."
