Louise Taechaubol, investor and chairwoman of several listed companies across diverse industries, has pursued a passion for soap-making through her eponymous brand.
Now, the Madame Louise's premium soap collection expertly combines glycerine along with other fine skincare ingredients.
"Our first glycerine soap was formulated for sensitive skin, and we expanded the range to cater to other skin concerns and for everyone in the family. Following Age Defy Soap for revitalisation of mature skin, the new Illuminate Soap targets a younger audience wanting to maintain healthy, glowing skin," said Louise, chairwoman of Triton Holding.
Rose and diamond illustrations on the packaging of Illuminate Soap allude to key ingredients -- pink rose cell extract, Damask rose floral water and diamond liquid extract -- each complementing a moisturising glycerine base.
Glycerine has been used for making soap since the mid-19th century. The ingredient itself dates back even further to 1779, when a Swedish chemist heated an olive oil mixture and accidentally discovered the humectant.
In the premium product line, advanced cosmetic technologies update classic glycerine- soap formulas.
Nano Gold particles and Matrixyl 3000 meet manuka honey and natural extracts from jasmine flowers, jasmine rice, turmeric and ginkgo leaves in the Age Defy Soap.
Extreme White features botanical extracts and Nano White technology with liposomal preparation of alpha arbutin, glutathione and vitamin C.
Enriched with vitamins C and E, Brightamin addresses skin dullness and UV damage, while the antibacterial effect of Clear Defense benefits those concerned about body odour and excessive sweat.
