Mad Friday is one of the busiest nights (and afternoons!) on the Christmas calendar in Leeds and this year should be no different.
But the weather is set to play a small part in determining just how things go down on the one Friday when people simply let it rip. Leeds is expected to be fairly dry in the morning with medium visibility.
The cloudy outlook will however change to rain around noon. This will morph into heavy rain and extend throughout the day and into the night.

The rain will affect later afternoon and early evening visibility. Wind Gusts will average 17mph and make it feel extra cold.
Coats and umbrellas will be needed for any night out as the rain and the cold will persist through the night.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Rather cloudy with a few scattered showers, mainly confined to coasts, through the morning. A band of rain arrives from the southwest later in the day, with freshening winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C."
Christmas weather forecast at a glance for Leeds
It will be a cloudy and wet Christmas for much of the UK, with any wintry showers confined to the far northwest.
Christmas Eve will be mostly dry for many southern and eastern parts of the UK. Further north and west, strong southwesterly winds will bring showers or some longer spells of rain, these heavy at times and falling as snow over the high ground of Scotland.
Leeds is expected to have snow on Christmas if bookies are correct. The Met Office said: "Saturday, some bright spells with occasional heavy showers. Breezy. Windy with showers Christmas Day, perhaps heavy, turning wintry later over hills. Colder and windy Boxing Day with wintry showers."
