Macklemore looks unrecognisable as he shows off long curly hair and moustache

Rapper Macklemore has baffled fans by sharing a picture of himself looking totally different with long curly hair and moustache.

The hip-hop star grew a beard during lockdown earlier this year, and he's also let his hair grow out.

He has since shaved off his facial fuzz and left a retro-style moustache while his hair is now long and curly.

He posted a picture of his new look on Instagram, writing: "Oh you didn’t think I was gonna hit the glow up during Covid?

"Tag someone that didn’t know I had natural curls and enter in a chance to win my secret recipe for the perfect dangles."

Many fans are convinced he now looks like actor David Spade - and the star himself even posted a comment acknowledging the similarities.

Spade wrote: "When did i get that tattoo?"

Fans found it hilarious, with one commenting: " @davidspade bro u got a twin," while another wrote: " @davidspade definitely also thought this was you at first glance."

A third joked: " @davidspade come get your son."

Others were just plain baffled by the the picture, with one writing: "Who the hell is this?" while another offered to give the star a hair cut, adding: "Come to Spokane and let me cut that hair man!!!!"

Macklemore has been playing about with his look in recent weeks, with one he described as "1976 JC Penny catalog look".

Another showed him with a hipster-style moustache and goatee, which he declared made him look like a pirate.
