Ireland v Wales player ratings as Mack Hansen impresses in dominant display

It was Mack Hansen who was the star man in Ireland's clash against Wales on Saturday.

Debut boy Hansen popped up in all areas of the field as the Connacht man impressed in his Ireland debut against Wales.

And there are a number of star performances across the board as Andrew Conway ran in two tries in the demolition of Wales.

15 HUGO KEENAN 7

Underarm pass after the half hour underlines the confidence he is playing with.

14 ANDREW CONWAY 8

Magnificent finish to first of two tries as he came to life in the second half.

13 GARRY RINGROSE 8

Always dangerous, deserved the try that earned a bonus winning point

12 BUNDEE AKI 8

Quick off the mark with Ireland's first try and was always prominent.

11 MACK HANSEN 9

Second minute try assist and carried for 152 metres. Big involvements on his debut.

10 JOHNNY SEXTON 8

Played well despite a hit and miss day off the tee and took plenty of punishment.

9 JAMISON GIBSON-PARK 7

Fast supply of ball again but needs to exert more control in scrappy and frantic periods.

1 ANDREW PORTER 7

Tougher day at the scrum but was powerful around the park and at the breakdown.

2 RONAN KELLEHER 7

One lost throw aside, the hooker played well and remains first choice.

3 TADHG FURLONG 8

Wales struggled to hold him when he got up a head of steam. Warming up for Paris.

4 TADHG BEIRNE 7

A choke tackle threat and carried 13 times, but did hand Wales their try on a plate.

5 JAMES RYAN 7

Prominent in defence and attack. Did butcher a try opportunity but looked more like himself.

6 CAELAN DORIS 7

Made some important contributions but not yet at the heights of last November.
