Macaulay Culkin has reminded fans to wear face masks by recreating an iconic Home Alone moment.
On Wednesday (7 October), the actor shared a photo of himself wearing a very recognisable face mask.
The protective gear featured a print of one of Home Alone’s most memorable moments: a young Culkin screaming with both hands clutched to his face.
The 40-year-old shared the selfie in a tweet, accompanied by a caption asking his fans to stay safe amid the pandemic.
He joked: “Just staying Covid-safe wearing the flayed skin of my younger self. Don’t forget to wear your masks, kids.”
On Instagram, Natalie Portman and Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton were among the celebrities to comment on the actor’s hilarious post. Portman wrote: “So good mack”.
After a long stint out of acting, Culkin will return to screens in the forthcoming series of Ryan Murphy’s acclaimed anthology American Horror Story.
The My Girl star will appear alongside the show’s staple actors Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates for its 10th season.
