Mac Jones and Jakobi Meyers combine for long TD off deflection

The football Gods taketh and giveth for Jakobi Meyers.

Days after the New England Patriots wide receiver threw the most ill-advised lateral that cost his team the game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Meyers was in the right place on Saturday.

Mac Jones ran the scramble drill and threw a deep, deep pass.

The football was deflected into the waiting arms of Meyers, who sauntered into the end zone.

The play was good for 48 yards.

The Patriots were suddenly within 22-18 of the Cincinnati Bengals after falling behind 22-0 at the half.
