Following the acquisition of GH Johnston Building Consultants in February, Mabbett & Associates has added a new regional office located within the Horizon Scotland Business and Innovation Centre, Forres.
This is aimed at supporting the independent planning, design, environment, engineering and safety consultancy’s geographic expansion east into Moray and Aberdeenshire.
Mabbett will also target expansion into the region’s burgeoning distilling and space sectors, to add to a growing client base in the industries.
Kenny Shand, senior planning consultant at Mabbett based in the Inverness office, will be the key point of contact for the new site.
Derek J. McNab, managing director at Mabbett, said: “Mabbett are delighted to have secured quality, flexible office space for our staff within the Highland and Islands Enterprise Horizon Scotland facility.
“I look forward to working alongside Kenny, Jonathon Brown, Darren Graham and their teams to develop our client base and expand our Team at this new regional hub.”
In March, Glasgow-headquartered Mabbett acquired the assets of Inverness-based Nevis Environmental.
Last September, it also opened a new Scottish office within the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc.
