UPDATE: The crash has now been cleared
Commuters are facing significant delays on the M8 following a four-car crash during rush hour.
The collision was reported around 8.15am on Wednesday morning at Junction 29 at St James interchange near Glasgow Airport.
One lane has been closed and Traffic Scotland has confirmed that tailbacks are already beginning. Travellers have been warned to expect delays.

Drivers are urged to take care on approach.
Travel time on the M8 is estimated to be 20 minutes and 15 minutes on the M737.
Traffic Scotland said: "Reports of a four vehicle collision on the M8 Eastbound around J29. Traffic is certainly tailing back as you can see on the cameras so please take care on approach."
