M8 crash aftermath sees 'pram and toys' littered in debris as two adults and child taken to hospital

Two adults and a child have been rushed to hospital after a horror smash on the M8 which left toys and a pram lying in the debris.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near Livingston, at around 1pm on Sunday, May 22, following reports that a single motor had collided with the crash barrier.

Edinburgh Live reports that an eyewitness allegedly saw marks on the roadway which suggested the car may have flipped a number of times.

Police Scotland closed the busy motorway in both directions while paramedics and fire crews were also in attendance.
