Lanes have been closed on the M62 this afternoon, after a car crashed and came off the road.
Emergency services are at the scene on the M62 westbound near junction 10 to the M6 Croft interchange. Heavy traffic is being reported as two lanes, including the exit slip road, are closed due to accident recovery work.
Images from the scene show that the car has come off the motorway, through fencing, and crashed into a field. The condition of those involved is not yet known.
