Parts of the M6, M53, M56 and M58 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, January 16 - Sunday, January 22) as National Highways continue to repair the regions roads. This week there will be weekend closures overnight on the M6, M53, M56 and M58 which are expected to cause delays for motorists.
The M56 between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) eastbound and junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) westbound are set to close overnight on Saturday and Sunday between 9pm and 6am.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, January 16
The M6 northbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and junction 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and junction 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 14 (Elton) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M58 westbound between Switch Island and junction three (Bickerstaffe) will be closed between 10pm and 6am.
Tuesday, January 17
The M6 northbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and junction 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and junction 24 (Ashton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and five (Hooton) will have one lane closed between 8pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 14 (Elton) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M58 westbound between Switch Island and junction three (Bickerstaffe) will be closed between 10pm and 6am.
Wednesday, January 18
The M6 northbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and junction 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and junction 24 (Ashton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and seven (Netherpool Road) will have one lane closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and five (Hooton) will have one lane closed 9pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 14 (Elton) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M58 westbound between Switch Island and junction three (Bickerstaffe) will be closed between 10pm and 6am.
Thursday, January 19
The M6 northbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and junction 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and junction 24 (Ashton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
