The M6, M53, M56 and M57 motorways will all face closures this week, with motorists being warned to expect delays.
The motorways will be closed for essential roadworks and National Highways has told drivers to expect disruption. The road closures will be overnight between Monday, June 27 and Sunday, July 3.
The M57 will see a number of junctions closed over the weekend as National Highways carries out repairs between junctions one (Tarbock Interchange) and two (Prescot) of the M57 after trying to carry out repairs for two years. Despite attempts to repair the road, the carriageway continues to deteriorate with potholes and other issues forming regularly.

Monday, June 27
The M6 northbound between junctions 21/21a (Woolston/Croft Interchange) and 23 (Haydock Island) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21/21a (Woolston/Croft Interchange) and 26 (Orrell Interchange) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions 10 (Stanlow Halt Interchange) and eight (Rossmore Road Interchange) as well as five (Hooton Interchange) and four (Clatterbridge) will be closed between 8.30pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and ten (Stanlow Halt Interchange) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook Interchange) and 15 (Stoak Interchange) will be closed between 8pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook Interchange) and 15 (Stoak Interchange) will be closed between 8pm and 5am.
The M57 southbound between junctions one (Tarbock Interchange) and four (Randles Farm Interchange) will be closed between 9pm and 6am
Tuesday, June 28
