The M6, M53 and M57 will all partially close this week as drivers are warned to expect "delays".
Sections of the motorways will be partially closed this week for essential roadworks and National Highways has warned drivers to expect "severe disruption". This week (July 25-31) will see no weekend closures for the first time in two weeks.
National Highways announced the M57 between junctions one (Tarbock Interchange) and three (Randles Farm) would be closing overnight for around five months after they tried to carry out repairs on potholes for two years. Despite attempts to repair the road, the carriageway continues to deteriorate with potholes and other issues forming regularly.

National Highways undertook an investigation and found a deeper and more extensive resurfacing was needed.
Here are all the motorway closures you can expect this week:
Monday, July 25
The M6 southbound between junction 21A (Croft) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A (Croft and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and seven (Netherpool) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and seven (Netherpool) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M57 southbound between junctions three (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Tuesday, July 26
The M6 southbound between junction 21A (Croft) and 23 (Haydock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 northbound between junction 21A (Croft) and 23 (Haydock) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions five (Hooton) and six (Eastham) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M57 southbound between junctions three (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Wednesday, July 27
The M6 southbound between junction 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 northbound between junction 21A (Croft) and 20 (Lymm) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions three (Heswall) and five (Hooton) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M57 southbound between junctions three (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Thursday, July 28
The M6 southbound between junction 20 (Lymm) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound at junction 10 (Stanlow Halt) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions five (Hooton) and four (Clatterbridge) between 8pm and 5am.
The M57 southbound between junctions three (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Friday, July 29
The M6 southbound between junction 20 (Lymm) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 northbound between junction 20 (Lymm) and 21A (Croft) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junction three (Heswall) and five (Hooton) will be closed between 8pm and 5am.
The M57 southbound between junctions three (Huyton) and one (Tarbock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Saturday, July 30
The M53 southbound at junction 10 (Stanlow Halt) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
