Sections of the M6, M53 and M56 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, February 6 - Sunday, February 12) as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there will be no weekend overnight on any of the regions motorways, according to the Highways travel planning website.
Sections of the M6 and M56 will however be closed overnight from Monday through until Friday.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, February 6
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 27 (Shevington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 24 (Ashton) as well as 26 (Orrell) and 27 (Shevington) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions three (Heswall) and four (Clatterbridge) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions one (Bidston) and three (Heswall) will have one lane closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) will be closed between 8.30pm and 5am.
Tuesday, February 7
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) and 25 (Bryn) and 27 (Shevington) will have two lanes closed between 8.30pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 24 (Ashton) and 26 (Orrell) and 27 (Shevington) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions one (Bidston) and two (Upton) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) will be closed between 8.30pm and 5am.
Wednesday, February 8
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) and 25 (Bryn) and 27 (Shevington) will have two lanes closed between 8.30pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 24 (Ashton) and 26 (Orrell) and 27 (Shevington) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions one (Bidston) and two (Upton) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) will be closed between 8.30pm and 5am.
Thursday, February 9

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) and 25 (Bryn) and 27 (Shevington) will have two lanes closed between 8.30pm and 6am.
