Drivers are facing a week of disruption as a number of motorways in Merseyside will be partially closed.
A large section of the M6 will be closed in one direction for two days between Haydock (junction 23) and Orrell (junction 26).
Highways England is closing the section of motorway for planned roadworks and has warned drivers to "expect disruption".

This week (from Thursday, February 10) the M53 and M56 will also see closures on a number of nights.
Here's a list of all the motorway closures you can expect this week:
Thursday, February 10
- Southbound exit and entrance slipways on the M6 at junction 20 (Lymm) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
- The northbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be completely closed between 9pm and 6am.
Friday, February 11
- The northbound entry slip road on the M53 at junction three (Woodchurch) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
- Southbound entrance slipway on the M6 at junction 20 (Lymm) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
- The northbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
Saturday, February 12
- The M53 southbound between junctions one (Wallasey) and three (Woodchurch) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
- The M56 westbound between junction 15 and A494 Park Gate will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Sunday, February 13
- The M53 southbound between junctions one (Wallasey) and three (Woodchurch) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
