It's back! M2 MacBook Air's stunning $999 low price is still going

m2 macbook air 13-inch

Apple recently cut the price of its 13-inch MacBook Air to just $1,099 in the wake of the launch of the 15-inch model. But that hasn't stopped Amazon from slicing another 10% off the price and bringing it down to a new low of $999, a fantastic saving on one of the best MacBooks you can possibly buy.

Powered by the impressive M2 Apple silicon chip, the MacBook Air 13-inch boasts all day battery life, a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 1080p FaceTime camera. This saving is available now on the very cool Midnight color option, but there are no savings yet on any of the other colors. We covered this deal recently and it went out of stock in less than a day, so move fast if you want to take advantage.

M2 MacBook Air's lowest-ever price

Apple's M2 MacBook Air delivered a major upgrade to the Air line when it was unveiled last year. It sports an all-new design that is squarer, and it offers the more powerful M2 Apple silicon chip, bringing big performance boosts over the M1.

In our M2 MacBook Air review, we praised it for its smarter new industrial design, its excellent build quality, and the power of M2. It's definitely one of the best MacBooks you can buy for portable computing thanks to its lightweight design and all-day battery life.

If you can't quite stretch to that price tag, then there's also an Amazon deal on the slightly older M1 MacBook Air, which is now $799 at Amazon. That's not quite its lowest price ever, but it is very close.
