M1 Belfast citybound closures to continue this week

Belfast M1

Closures on the M1 citybound are set to continue until midweek.

The closures are taking place between Junction 2 at Stockmans Lane and Junction 1 at Broadway.

The resurfacing works on the M1 began on Thursday, November 3, and are to continue until Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Full overnight closures will take place on:

Tuesday, November 8 - 9pm to 6am
Wednesday, November 9 - 9pm to 6am

A Trafficwatch NI spokesperson added: "Road users are advised of possible delays and are asked to allow extra time for journeys in this area at these times."
