M&S unveil their 2019 Christmas food range - and everything looks incredible

Summer may have only just ended, but nothing gets us more in the mood for Christmas than Christmas food. Especially when it's M&S Christmas food...

British institution Marks and Spencer has just unveiled all the festive food it will be selling this year, including the perfect turkey, the return of the brand's best-selling gravy , as well as lots of intriguing canapés.

Already live on the M&S website, orders are apparently already coming in thick and fast, with the first one being placed just 13 minutes after the site went live.

Everyone that pre-orders a festive feast over £85 before the 10th November will also get a bonus freebie thrown in too, with all early bird orders including a free box of chocolates or bottle of wine.

Whilst Christmas is meant to be all about turkey and chocolate, frankly, it's the cheese we're most interested in.

So for 2019, M&S have launched a huge 'pull-apart and dip' Brie En Croûte (£12), that features an entire Normandy brie, surrounded by all-butter puff pastry that's studded with rosemary and garlic. It's intended to feed six people but we reckon we could polish it off alone...

The other star of the show though is perhaps Marks and Spencer's 'Collection Perfect' turkey: a succulent, stock-basted British turkey crown with a pork, sage and onion stuffing, costing £65 but serving 12-14 people.

For vegans, there's an equally as show-stopping centre piece, in the form of a new Plant Kitchen Festive Roast ( £12, serves four), which comprises of a vegan joint with cranberry and chestnut stuffing, vegan gravy and no pork cocktail sausages.

As for the starters, there's two equally as fancy fish options to pick from, including a posh lobster and prawn cocktail or king prawn ( £15, serves four) and smoked salmon appetiser ( £15, serves six).

Puddings wise, prepare for youth mouth to water, as there's a hefty menu of indulgent desserts such as a creamy vanilla mousse and berry compote snow bomb ( £15, serves ten), Plant Kitchen chocolate and cherry dessert, £10 topped with morello cherry ganache and a sticky toffee pudding trifle (£12, serves eight).

If you're planning a big party this year and plan to get M&S to do some of the catering, there's also some impressive canapé options.

Highlights include M&S' pulled ham and rarebit crumpets (£14 for 20 pieces), Spanish pigs in blankets (£10 for 32 pieces), mushroom steamed buns (£14 for 24 pieces) and meatball and tomato subs (£14 for 20 pieces).

Race you there...
