Taking about their creation, the chain took to their website and explained: "Since the invention of Dominique Ansel’s Cronut® in 2013, the trend for hybrid bakes shows no signs of slowing down – especially with the launch of our super-delicious Yumnut™.
"Made using a unique butter-enriched recipe, these showstopping treats are rested for a minimum of 12 hours and feature beautifully light layers. The dough is then fried, covered in a sweet sugar glaze and finished with a variety of indulgent toppings."
The special Mother's Day treat is just one for several Yumnuts which people have been drooling over with many calling it the 'best treat' they've had.
The brightly coloured yellow treat is said to be limited-edition topped with passion fruit fondant and a white chocolate flower costing £1.50 each
M&S Yumnut flavours include:
- Plain Jane
- Raspberry Royal
- Billionaires
- Simply the Zest
- Milk and Cookies
- Double Chocolate
Taking to the Food Finds UK Facebook group, one shopper shared a post about the chain's latest creation.
One shopper said: "We need to go to m&s!!! This looks yummy."
Another added: "Like a pornstar drink on a cake."
A third commented: "Never mind the mums… I know you’d give this beast a go" as they tagged their friends.
