Marks & Spencer shoppers have been rushing to their local stories after catching wind of a new dupe for Le Labo Santal 33's £157 designer perfume. It comes after a TikTok user took to the popular video-streaming service to praise the store's inexpensive version, retailing at just £9.50, that she claims smells 'the same'.
Chloe - who boasts more than 700 followers on account @skin.ting - raved about her find online, admitting she didn't think the beauty product had much potential. However, she was pleasantly surprised when she laid her nose upon M&S' Apothecary range.
Captioning the post, Chloe wrote: "THE dupe of all dupes. Save your £ and get to M&S."
The TikTok user explained: "We're in a cost of living crisis and I'm not going to gatekeep this.
"I just went to M&S in Manchester for a bra fitting and the beauty counter is right by where the lingerie section is.
"I was having a little potter about and I was looking at their own brand they have called Apothecary.
"I picked up this perfume randomly and I thought, 'Oh, I'll give it a little sniff'.
Chloe went on: "Oh my God, it is THE same - not even slightly different - as the Le Labo Santal 33.
"This is is it, it's called Warm. So, it's in the Apothecary range.
"It's 50ml and it was £9.50! And it literally smells exactly the same.
"Run! Do not walk," she added.
Since sharing, Chloe's video sharing insight into the inexpensive perfume has surpassed 460,000 views to date.
Flocking to the comment section, one person wrote: "M&S beauty is criminally underrated."
A second TikTok user praised the range: "M&S perfume is sooo good. I'm wearing the Pom Noir dupe now, it was £3 in the sale."
"White coconut is a dupe of the white company Seychelles," a different user said.
Someone else joked: "OK but low key delete I've loved the M&S perfume range for ages I don't want the prices going up."
