Marks and Spencer shoppers are besotted with a "classy" polka dot dress after spotting it online, with some comparing it to one worn by Julia Roberts in the hit 1990 film, Pretty Woman.
Legendary retailer M&S is an integral cog on the British high street, maintaining its relevance with shoppers keen to snap up its extensive array of on-trend clothing, accessories, homeware, beauty supplies, furniture and more.
Like many of its competitors, the popular retailer, which was founded in 1884, makes use of social media to keep shoppers in the loop on all the newest stock and product drops.

M&S boasts millions of followers across its Instagram pages, while many of its staff members also operate Instagram pages of their own. Branded 'M&S insiders' on the hit social media platform, they share outfit and fashion advice, and offer styling tips and inspiration to shoppers.
Recently, 'M&S insider' Sam Briones caused a stir among her 24.9K Instagram followers after sharing an Instagram Reels video featuring the retailer's Satin Polka Dot Tie Front Midi Column Dress, which costs £49.50.
The dress comes in a regular fit in ivory fabric, with a bold green polka dot print in a sleeveless style. It's complete with a round neck and tie detail to the front, in a midi-length design. It can be purchased here.

Captioning the footage of the Marks and Spencer dress on Instagram, Sam said: "Here's a look at another pretty dress from Occasionwear. I'm enjoying the polka dots in green here, the sleek midi length design and this cute bag."
The dress proved popular among social-media-using fashion lovers, racking up heaps of likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
