With the nicer weather looming on the horizon, many of us will be looking to freshen up our wardrobe with some trendy new summer dresses.
Luckily, high-street retailer Marks and Spencer has shoppers covered with a range of new stylish outfits that they can pick up next time they are in store.
And one of the retailer's newest outfits certainly has all shoppers talking about how "unique" and "gorgeous" it is, but it has not been without its complaints.
The dress in question is a mismatched floral pattern maxi wrap dress that is part of M&S' new spring/summer 2022 collection Little Mistress.
M&S collaborated with Irish model Vogue Williams on the brand new collection that features a range of summer fashion must haves, including dresses and skirts.
The retailer shared a snap of their double patterned red dress to their official Facebook where it quickly gained a mixed response from shoppers.
They captioned the snap: "A pre-bank holiday treat. The new @littlemistressuk spring/summer collection in collaboration with Vogue Williams has just landed! Find all your summer must-haves, from sunshine-ready wrap dresses to lust-worthy occasionwear, online now at M&S."
Most shoppers were quick to praise the new summer dress for it's being unique and different for the summer.
"I think this is gorgeous. It’s so unique compared to anything I have in my wardrobe," praised one shopper.
"Love the mismatch pattern, so many brands are featuring this look. Great colour," commented a second.
"I totally love it. Great to see something a little different", wrote a third.
"I would totally wear that. Love pinks and florals, the perfect print for me", exclaimed a fourth.
However, as lovely as the dress is, mainly shoppers quickly took issue with the steep £85 price-tag.
"So lovely but why is it so expensive", questioned one shopper.
"Nice to see something different. Bit pricey though and not inclusive with sizing", said a second.
"Lovely dresses but I could not justify spending these prices on one dress. M&S are usually more affordable", said another.
But it looks like the price-tag hasn't deterred many shoppers, as the mismatched wrap dress seems to have sold out online.
