M&S shoppers agree on same problem with Walter the £5 sausage dog Easter egg

Easter eggs come in all shapes and sizes nowadays, and one retailer is really standing out with its unusual collection of chocolate sculptures.

From octopuses to hedgehogs and koalas, animal lovers are spoiled for choice with Marks and Spencer 's Easter range this year.

Standing out from the bunch is the sausage dog Easter Eggs, which have garnered lots of interest online.

Popular pooches Walter and Wilma have gone viral on social media - and everyone is saying the exact same thing, reports Manchester Evening News.

A picture of the chocolate duo was posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook page, where it quickly sent shoppers wild.

The post has been commented on more than 10,000 times, with fans concluding Walter and Wilma are just "too cute to eat".

Priced at £5 each, the little pooches look scarily like the real thing.

One shopper, Sandra Cork, said: "I couldn't eat that I love sausage dogs" and Mary Newman wrote: "How could you eat such cute little dog."

Nikki Williams commented: "I want an Easter egg I can eat.. there's no way I could eat this!" and Sue Doughty said: "Saw this, but would be a shame to eat it, so cute."

Walter and Wilma are out of stock online, so you'll need to check your local Marks and Sparks shop to see if you can nab one.

Another giant retailer recently excited dog owners when it shared its latest pet product range online.

Primark showed off its new Harry Potter accessories collection, which includes a dog bed, toy, collar, harness, food bowls and treat containers.

The burgundy and mustard goods are printed with 'Property of Hogwarts' and start at just £5, perfect for dog and cat lovers who are also bargain hunters.

Its Instagram post read: "A world of magic is arriving with the launch of our new Harry Potter Pet Accessories. @primark.home prices from £5."

The reveal excited followers in the comments section, with many Wizarding Worlds fans coining it "Dogwarts" and one follower writing: "Take my money!"
