Nobody wants to think about uniform shopping before the school year has ended, but early birds can make some big savings.
And as well as making the most of the M&S 20% off promotion that's now running, the retailer has made the experience a whole lot simpler for families this year.
A pop-up Clarks has arrived in the Manchester city centre store until early September – making it a one stop shop for back-to-school essentials. It's part of the M&S brand partnership, which recently expanded to include the likes of school supply brands Smiggle and Hype too.

The company says its ‘Brands at M&S’ strategy 'helps drive footfall, newness and style perception and aims to provide shoppers with a richer and more seamless experience from M&S'.
While some of the brands are being introduced in store, more than 35 - including Kickers and JanSport - are being sold on M&S.com.
The retailer has also continued its popular ‘Pass me on’ coat labels this year, with enough room for three children’s names, and in April announced it had become the first major high street retailer to partner with peer-to-peer kidswear resale platform dotte.
Consumers re-selling M&S products on dotte will receive an M&S voucher for £5 off a £25 spend at M&S in-store or online.
Alice Duggan, head of M&S Kids, said: “Schoolwear is an essential purchase for millions of families and now, more than ever, we want customers to have confidence in the value and quality of our uniform.
"As the UK market leaders during the back to school season, we want to not only protect the prices, but help extend the life of our school ranges through design features and innovations so items can be worn for longer, be passed on to friends and family or even resold on dotte in return for money off at M&S."
The 20% off uniform promotion is running until July 25.
