High-street retailer M&S has announced it will be extending their 'Remarksable' campaign to their homeware department to provide customers with lower costs.
The British chain announced the plans after it identified their home decor department as a key area of potential growth due to changing consumer demands following the pandemic.
From this month, shoppers will be able to find essential home items from tea towels to tea mugs with prices starting as little as just £1.
It follows the retailer's successful Remarksable Food Campaign which aimed to help them compete with other major grocers by providing M&S quality with every day prices.
M&S says the new campaign is aimed at targeting their 22 million customers who have never purchased items from their homeware department.
The retailer said the Remarksable Food Campaign helped drive value perception at M&S Food to its strongest in four years by showing low prices on M&S quality items.
Heidi Woodhouse, Director of Home at M&S said: “We know that for millions of customers the pandemic has changed how they feel about the space they call Home, making it an important growth opportunity.
"Millions trust us for the Food and Clothing products that matter most – and so we want to highlight to them the incredible trusted value of our Home product and Remarksable does just this, focusing on the unbeatable value of our entry price product.”
The extension comes after the high-street retailer has been following through on it's ambitious transformation plans in a bid to reach more and younger consumers.
As part of their plans, the retailer also became the first British retailer to launch their own 'TikTok style' live shopping channel to revamp the shopping experience for customers.
From this month, M&S customers will see ‘Remarksable value’ for Home highlighted across M&S marketing channels – from customer emails to store windows.
