On-loan Nottingham Forest striker Lyle Taylor says he is “not worried” about any uncertainty over his future ahead of the summer transfer window.
The front man is spending the second half of this season at Championship rivals Birmingham City, having made the move in January. And he has been in good form for Lee Bowyer’s side, bagging four goals in nine appearances.
The Reds, meanwhile, strengthened their attacking arsenal in the winter window, bringing in Keinan Davis on loan from Aston Villa and signing Sam Surridge on a permanent deal. They also have veteran forward Lewis Grabban, who has recently returned from injury - although his contract is due to run out at the end of the campaign.

Taylor’s Forest deal will expire in 2023. But there is a question mark over what will happen to him in the summer, with his parent club likely to make changes to their squad and Bowyer having expressed his admiration for the 32-year-old.
Speaking before Saturday’s meeting between the two teams, which Taylor was ineligible to play in and which the Reds won 2-0, he told the BBC: “I think we’ve got six games left, so that’s the first port of call. Then I’m off to the Caribbean in the summer to play four games for Montserrat. I’ll enjoy a little bit of sun and we’ll see what’s what when I get back.
“I’ll go back to Forest for pre-season and I’m sure there will be plenty of time to have conversations between the season finishing and the next season starting, which is early this year because of the World Cup. But there’s plenty of time for those conversations to be had and to be told where I’m at and what the club want to do and what I want to do.
“I’m not too worried about that. I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where I have a contract. There’s a lot of footballers out of contract this summer, I’m not one of those.”
