The reason for Lyall Cameron's omission from Dundee's squad at Parkhead tonight has been revealed.
The midfielder signed a pre-contract with Rangers on transfer deadline day and will make the move to Ibrox in the summer.
Cameron has been a standout for Dundee this season, scoring eight goals and assisting a further nine across 30 appearances in all competitions.

Although he started in a 6-0 defeat to Hearts at the weekend, Cameron isn't in his side's squad to face Celtic tonight.
That is because he is suffering from an Achilles injury, according to Dundee boss Tony Docherty.
Cameron has been training and playing with the issue for a while but has been rested tonight: "He's been playing for the last couple of weeks with an Achilles injury," Docherty told BBC Scotland.
"We made the decision that with that injury, we would rest him now."
Cameron will be looking forward to joining Rangers at the season's end, but his full focus, at least for now, will be on performing with Dundee.
Although he is in the stands at Parkhead tonight, the Scotland youth international could be back in contention for a Scottish Cup tie against Airdrieonians this Saturday.
