LVMH Makes Major Moves with New CEO Appointments for Kenzo and Fendi

LVMH has shaken things up with fresh leadership appointments, announcing the new CEOs for its fashion powerhouses, Kenzo and Fendi. The luxury group also revealed a new head for its China business under the Louis Vuitton label.

Charlotte Coupé is set to take the reins at Kenzo, stepping into the CEO role on May 1. She will report directly to Sidney Toledano, the advisor to LVMH’s CEO Bernard Arnault. Coupé has been with LVMH since 2016 and has held various roles within the group, most recently as business unit director for Men’s Ready to Wear at Louis Vuitton. Before joining LVMH, she worked at Ralph Lauren and Lacoste, but now she will lead Kenzo, succeeding Sylvain Blanc, who is leaving to pursue “new projects.”

Meanwhile, Ramon Ros has been tapped as the new CEO of Fendi, with a start date of July 1. Ros is no stranger to LVMH, having worked with the group for several years. He is president and CEO of Louis Vuitton’s business in Greater China and will continue reporting to Sidney Toledano in his new role at Fendi. Before his time at LVMH, Ros built a career at Marks & Spencer, Diesel, and Tous, gaining valuable experience in retail and fashion.

As part of these changes, Daniel DiCicco has been appointed as the new president and CEO for Louis Vuitton’s Mainland China operations. DiCicco, who most recently led global retail at Apple and has held top roles at Sony Music and Coach, will take over the China business on April 28. He will report to David Ponzo, Louis Vuitton’s chief commercial officer.

These moves signal a period of transformation at LVMH as it continues to evolve and strengthen its luxury empire.
