A former holiday cottage entrepreneur has launched a luxurious self-catering company - with three of the five properties available in a village on the Northumberland Coast.
Catch The Breeze Retreats is the brainchild of Clive Sykes, the founder and former owner of Sykes Cottages, and aims to deliver high-end holiday retreats in beautiful parts of the UK.
In addition to the three Craster properties, the company has also acquired a former mill on the Northumberland Coast near Beadnell, 400 metres from the coast, which is due for completion in 2023.

Clive Sykes said: "We have three properties within the Northumberland coastal fishing village of Craster as it is such a beautiful part of the world.
"From the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, and tranquil coves, to the local kipper smokehouse which is well regarded to be a firm favourite of the Royal Family, there really is something for everyone.”
Clive says that he set up Catch The Breeze Retreats because 'it's in his blood' and hopes that his experience, knowledge and passion about UK holidays can entice people into booking the company's exclusive properties - of which the others are in Yorkshire Dales National Park and Snowdonia National Park.
Clive continued: "Many people have historically felt that self-catering holiday options here in the UK were boring when compared with exotic alternatives abroad, but that couldn’t be further from the truth in my opinion.
"There is so much to discover right here in the UK, often within only a couple of hours from your doorstep, and I’m looking forward to sharing some hidden gems and new locations with you.
Catch The Breeze's Craster properties are named Craster Reach, Middlerigg and Rock Lobster.
