A holiday park in Cornwall has been put up for sale for more than £5m.
The Park, a five-star luxury complex close to Mawgan Porth beach in the north of the county, provides 110 bedrooms across 56 self-catering holiday units, ranging from lodges, cottages, cabins and yurts.
The 21.5 acre site also has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, a steam room, a restaurant and bar, gardens and an enclosed dog walking area.
The facility, which has a sister site in Dorset called Greenwood Grange, is also a licensed wedding venue.
Property advisor Knight Frank has been appointed to manage the sale. Matthew Smith, hotel agency partner at Knight Frank said: “Situated within 300 metres of Mawgan Porth beach, The Park provides a superb opportunity to acquire a profitable self-catering business that is currently experiencing a strong trading performance due to high demand for domestic holidays.”
“An established holiday park business that benefits from an experienced general manager and loyal team, the site provides several value-add opportunities to further grow revenue which could include additional holiday units within the grounds, subject to planning permission.”
Documents filed on Companies House list London-based chartered accountant Richard Thomas Butler as the sole director for the business. The Park’s most recent financial statement showed that as of the end of 2021 the business had total equity of £7m with an accounted loss of £3.5m.
