Luss boxing star Hannah Rankin set for March ring return

Luss boxer Hannah Rankin will be back in action next month for the first time since losing her WBA and IBO titles.

Hannah will return to the ring against American Logan Holler in Wolverhampton on March 10.

Rankin, 32, lost her belts to Terri Harper by unanimous decision in Nottingham in September, later admitting to the Lennox that she felt she wasn’t mentally prepared for the bout.

But Hannah will now get a chance to begin the road to redemption, as she faces 31-year-old Holler, who has nine wins from 12 fights, at Hangar Events Centre in Wolverhampton on March 10.

And the former Hermitage Academy pupil believes that fans will see a more determined than ever Hannah in 2023.

She said: “I’m absolutely fired up for this year. I wasn’t myself in my last fight and that wasn’t the best representation of Hannah Rankin in the ring.

“I can’t wait to get in there this year to showcase what I’m really about, and get back in the hunt to get my titles back. That’s my sole goal. I want to become world champion again.

“You’re going to see the next level of me as a professional sportsperson.

“This will be my year.”
