Lush issues statement after Liverpool store building put up for sale

Lush has confirmed it will remain in Liverpool following the news its store is up for sale.

In 2019, Lush moved to the former Dorothy Perkins and Burton building on Church Street. Set across three floors, it is the world's biggest Lush store.

Alongside its cosmetics range, the building is also home to a spa, florist, hair salon and perfume library. Upon opening, the retailer said the shop was so big it could fit over nine million bath bombs inside.

The premises is now up for sale, with estate agents Knight Frank seeking offers in excess of £9m.

When the Lush store opened in the building the 14,854 sq ft store was five times bigger than its previous location in Liverpool.

Lush has confirmed to the ECHO that while the building is for sale, Lush is not moving or closing down. The company has a deal to remain in the Church Street building for a further 10 years.
