We might only be in March, but tickets have already gone on sale for an event coming to the region next Christmas.
An illuminated trail is coming to Walton Hall Gardens, nearing Warrington and running for a month leading up to Christmas 2022.
The organisers of Luminate Cheshire are inviting people to ‘ join us on our enchanting journey, as we weave a captivating light trail through the stunning, grounds of Walton Gardens. Immerse yourself in our mesmerising trail, with stunning lighting elements and fabulous light play, all set to ambient music.’

The 1.4k trail starts through the courtyard in front of the riding stables and follows a clearly defined route through the Gardens.
Along the way you can warm up by the fire pit and toast marshmallows - either purchase on site or bring your own with skewers.
The trail is suitable for young and old, and runs from November 24 to Christmas Eve with entry slots every 15 minutes. Tickets must be pre-booked online in advance.
It takes around 60 to 90 minutes to complete the trial depending on your pace along the way.
